Research and ad creation
Based on Ted's strategic guidance, our marketing experts will conduct user research for your campaign, and create images and copy for your ads. Timing: Within 1 week of the previous step.
Step 3
Campaign launch
Our marketing experts will launch a highly targeted campaign, with a total daily budget set by you. We recommend a budget of at least $5/day, however, the more you spend, the more subscribers you can bring in. Timing: Immediately after the previous step.
Step 4
Management
For 30 days, we'll monitor your campaign and make adjustments to improve results. Our service will renew every month, unless you choose otherwise. Timing: 30 days after the previous step, with an option to continue for another 30.

Should I send people to an Amazon or email-subscription page?
That decision should be based on your marketing priorities at the time of the campaign.
For example, if you just came out with a book, you may want to run ads to increase sales on Amazon in its first month of release.
Or, if you'd like to increase sales of all of your books, over a longer period, you may want to run ads to grow your email list. Once people are on your list, you can promote all of your books to them, over several months.

Do I need to runs ads to reach a lot of readers of my genre?
No, however, ads can help you do this a lot faster.
Theoretically, yes, you can run your own ads. However, unless you have Facebook ads experience, your ads likely won't be as effective as those set up and managed by an expert. Plus, running ads yourself takes a lot of time, while letting a professional handle the task will free up multiple hours in your schedule.

How will these ads help me sell more books?
If you send people to a book's Amazon page, some of them should purchase your book, increasing sales. If you send people to a page to sign up for your email list, over time, they should eventually buy books from you.
Facebook's parent company, Meta, has a portal dedicated to creating and managing ads on Facebook and Instagram. You need to create an account on this portal to run ads. These accounts are free. If you already have an email/password you use to log into Facebook, you can use the same email/password for your advertising account.
Facebook primarily charges based on how many users see your ads, and how many other ads are trying to reach the same audience as yours. The more competitive a certain audience is to target, the higher its cost, in general.
At Galdi Media, we like to assess campaigns based on their cost per subscriber. Example, if you spend $10/day on ads and bring in an average of 10 new email subscribers per day, your cost per subscriber would be $1.
We try to get this cost as low as we can for you.
Galdi Media charges you a fee to launch your ads and manage them for 30 days. We'll target your ads to Facebook and Instagram users who are interested in your genre, create your ads' images, and their text.
Our advertising team will monitor your ads' performance over a 30-day period, and consistently make adjustments to increase your clicks and/or lower your cost per click.
Galdi Media's fee does not cover what Facebook charges for ad views. Your budget for ads depends on your personal financial situation. The more you spend, the more traffic you're likely to bring in. We recommend a budget of at least $5/day.

You have four main options for running Facebook ads:
1.) Doing it yourself. This can eat up a lot of your time. Plus, unless you're an expert digital advertiser, you likely won't be as effective as a professional.
2.) Hiring a freelancer. Though many good freelancers are out there, plenty of them overpromise and under-deliver. Knowing whether or not you're choosing an effective one can be hard. Plus, if you go with a freelancer, you'll have to spend time managing the project.
3.) Working with another company that provides Facebook advertising. Though other companies provide Facebook advertising in general, the vast majority do not specialize in author ads. In addition, your point of contact at these companies likely won't be its president, or a #1 bestselling author.
