Do you love writing, but find self-publishing kind of overwhelming?
Doing it all yourself with no mistakes is nearly impossible. With traditional-publishing deals harder to get these days, self-publishing has become a great alternative. However, unless you happen to be a professional editor, graphic designer, data analyst, marketer, and project manager, self-publishing can be time-consuming and lead to critical errors that tank your book sales.
We'll do all this stuff for you. Galdi Media has a team of publishing experts who can handle all of the self-publishing steps needed to make your book a success. You can just focus on what you love - writing.
To sell a lot of copies, your book must be on Amazon. To self-publish it there, you must meet Amazon's requirements.
Amazon is the world's largest book retailer. Trying to self-publish a book that doesn't meet its requirements will lead to a rejected submission. You need certain files, properly formatted. To save time and money, your clear choice is Galdi Media.

If you're self-publishing your book, you have four main options for completing the necessary steps:
1.) Doing them yourself. This can eat up a lot of your time. Plus, unless you have experience with these tasks, you likely won't be as effective as a professional. Mistakes you make can harm your book sales.
2.) Hiring freelancers. Though many good freelancers are out there, plenty of them overpromise and under-deliver. Knowing whether or not you're choosing an effective one can be hard. Plus, if you go with freelancers, you'll have to spend time managing all of their work and assuring every piece of the project is in sync.
3.) Working with another company that provides self-publishing services. Though other companies provide similar services as Galdi Media, many force authors into restrictive, lifetime contracts that claim a significant percentage of a book's royalties. In addition, your point of contact at these companies likely won't be its president, or a #1 bestselling author.
4.) Partnering with Galdi Media. Your point of contact will be Ted Galdi, our president, and a #1 bestselling author. You won't have to do any work yourself, or manage any freelancers. Ted will make sure experts from his network handle everything for you. Because Ted believes authors should keep 100% of their earnings, you won't be asked to give over a royalty percentage, or to sign any contracts at all. Just pay a low, one-time fee and we'll help make your book a success.
Other companies that offer self-publishing support may say that they have a big, international distribution network for your book, as a justification for higher prices.
You may conclude that if your book is available in a lot of places, sales will have to go up. But, in reality, one retail site accounts for almost every sale of self-published authors' books - Amazon.
Plus, you will have a much easier time hitting a bestseller chart on Amazon if your book is enrolled in its Kindle Unlimited program. To enroll, your e-book version needs to be exclusive to Amazon.
Including your e-book on a large network of retail sites will restrict you from joining Kindle Unlimited and reduce your odds of becoming a bestseller.

We provide self-publishing support, yet are not a publishing company. Unlike a publishing company, we don't review manuscripts for acceptance or rejection, and we don't take a percentage of an author's book royalties.
When you publish your book, you'd do so under your own name, or the name of a publishing imprint you own.
Absolutely. If you've already published a book, but it's not selling as many copies as you'd like, Ted will figure out what's holding it back during your free consultation.
For instance, possibly your cover isn't aligned with your genre, or your description lacks an effective hook. Whatever the problem is, we can work on fixing it for you.
Our services have different prices. Unlike other self-publishing companies, we're transparent about our pricing, and include it right on our website.
Visit our services page and click the service you're interested in to see its price.
Depending on the service you order, you'll have to provide some material so we can get started. For instance, for us to format your manuscript for Amazon Kindle, you'll need to send us your manuscript in Microsoft Word or a similar program.
If you don't yet have the necessary material for a service, no problem. We can help you get it.
Once your project starts, we'll handle all the work. Before certain items are finalized (ex, a book cover), we'll show you a version for feedback. Our experts will integrate your feedback into a modified version, at no added cost.
Ted has an extensive network of expert contacts who help self-published authors. Based on the genre you're writing in, and other characteristics of your project, he'll pair it with one or more experienced professionals with a track record of success for projects like yours.
During the project, Ted will be your point of contact for any questions or feedback.
Yes, for all of our services besides editing. Our experts will provide you a version 1 as soon as possible (ex, of a book cover). You will have an opportunity to provide feedback, which the team will integrate into a version 2.
Feedback/revision rounds can continue until you're happy.
Though your feedback isn't part of our editing service, you are in no way obligated to include every one of our editor's suggestions into the final version of your manuscript. A lot of editing comments are subjective. You will have final say into what goes into your final draft.
For all our services besides editing, illustration, and web design, we will provide a version 1 for you to review within a few days. Based on your feedback, we'll make revisions until you're happy. This process can take just a couple days, but may take longer, depending on the extent of your feedback.
Our editing, illustration, and web-design services typically take a few weeks. Feedback rounds are not part of the editing service, however, you will have the opportunity to provide feedback, and receive revisions, for your illustrations and website.
